A man, sent to hospital after fire broke out at an apartment complex on Sunday, has died.
The Edmonton Police Service continues to investigate after officers responded to the report of a fire at an apartment building in the area of 115 Street and 107 Avenue at approximately 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015.
A 54-year-old man was treated and transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries this morning, passing away in hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon.
Investigation by the EPS Homicide Section and Arson Unit is ongoing.
