Suspicious vehicle leads to four arrests, drug and weapons charges

A proactive vehicle stop by the Edmonton Police Service STAT team, lead to four arrests, and numerous drug and weapons related charges.

On Sunday, Mar. 6, 2016 around 8 p.m. STAT officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of 64 Street and 118 Avenue. Shortly thereafter, officers conducted a proactive traffic stop on the Dodge Ram in the area of 120 Avenue and 82 Street. Police noted four individuals in the vehicle and observed weapons in plain view.

Police searched the individuals and the vehicle and recovered: brass knuckles, dog spray, an extendable baton, a folding knife, a metal pipe and about 16g of crack cocaine with a street value of $1,250.

All four of the vehicle’s occupants were arrested, 26 charges laid and a total of 14 criminal warrants executed.

Cole Jordan Gladue, 24, was charged with possess for the purpose of trafficking, and possess offensive weapon dangerous to the public (x3).

Brandon Travis Houle, 24, was charged with possess for the purpose of trafficking, and possess offensive weapon dangerous to the public (x3), obstructing a peace officer and breach of recognizance (x2). In addition, eight criminal warrants were executed for his arrest.

Cardinal Archie Boily, 19, was charged with possess for the purpose of trafficking, and possess offensive weapon dangerous to the public (x3) and breach of recognizance. One addition criminal warrant was executed for his arrest.

Dillion McLeod, 25, was charged with possess for the purpose of trafficking, and possess offensive weapon dangerous to the public (x5), unauthorized possession of prohibited device, and breach of undertaking (x3). In addition, five criminal warrants were executed for his arrest.
