The Edmonton Medical Examiner completed an autopsy this afternoon on the deceased man found in an apartment suite late last week.
Louie De Sousa Sa, 61, died as a result of trauma to his upper body.
Homicide Section has declared this death as the city’s 22nd homicide of the year. The investigation is still underway.

Background: On May 19, 2016, just after 11 p.m., patrol officers from Northwest Division responded to a rental property near 82 Street and 123 Avenue and located the deceased within the suite.
