Police asking public to help identify suspect

Southeast Division detectives are asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect.

On Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 police were called to a disturbance around 10 p.m. at an entertainment establishment in South Edmonton Common. It was reported that a male was allegedly assaulted with a weapon by another male. EMS treated and transported the male to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect, who left the establishment prior to police arrival, is described as a Caucasian male, about 6’1” tall and weighs about 150 lbs. He is slim, has an oval face, trimmed beard, dark eyes and dark hair. He was wearing a light grey suit, a collared shirt (without a tie).

Police are releasing these surveillance images of the suspect and are asking anyone who may be able to identify him, to come forward to police.
