Police seek public’s assistance locating missing woman

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 85-year-old woman.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. yesterday evening, Tuesday, July 11, 2017, Louise Janzen, 85, left the Misericordia Hospital in the area of 87 Avenue and 169 Street to go for a walk. She was last seen heading eastbound on 87 Avenue toward the Esso gas station at 165 Street.

 

Janzen is described as a Caucasian female with grey hair and wears glasses. She is 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 160lbs and was last seen wearing a black and white checkered dress. Janzen uses a walker and left the hospital with it. 

 

 

Missing: Louise Janzen, 85

Janzen requires medication and, as such, there are concerns for her well-being. She is known to frequent West Edmonton Mall and is familiar with the Edmonton Transit System. There are no indications to suggest foul play.
