The Major Collision Investigation Section of the Edmonton Police Service is seeking a potential female witness to a fatal hit-and-run that occurred downtown 10 days ago.
On Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, a 25-year-old male was struck and killed by a white van in the area of 105 Avenue and 102 Street. The van fled the scene.
The female at the scene is described as Aboriginal, approximately 20 - 35 years old, with average build and dark medium length hair. At the time of the incident she was wearing glasses, a black sweatshirt with a white Adidas symbol on the front, a white winter jacket with hood and was carrying a small black backpack.
Police would like to speak to the woman in the event she witnessed anything valuable that could assist the on-going investigation.
