Just after 8:30 a.m. today, Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, Northwest Division officers responded to a report of a seriously injured female who was found in an alley in the area of 119 Avenue and 105 Street.
It was reported to police that the 50-year-old female was struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene. EMS treated and transported the female to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The EPS Major Collision Investigation Section has since taken over the investigation, and is seeking witnesses and any information related to this incident. Based on surveillance video obtained from the area, investigators believe the vehicle of interest may be a black or dark grey smaller SUV.
