An autopsy conducted by the Edmonton Medical Examiner has confirmed that a 23-year-male died from a gunshot wound on Jan. 21, and the manner of death is homicide.

Southeast Division patrol officers responded to several 911 calls in connection to gunshots being heard in TheOrchards at Ellerslie, a neighbourhood just south of Summerside.
Upon arrival, EMS paramedics were tending to a young male, who was lying on the street on Crabapple Crescent, with undisclosed injuries. The male was rushed to hospital by paramedics, where he would later succumb to his injuries.
Manvir Singh Sidhu, 23,was found lying on the ground on Crabapple Crescent in The Orchards at Ellerslie, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21, 2019.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate this murder, the city’s fifth homicide of 2019.
