The Edmonton Police Service is asking the public for assistance in identifying a male suspect believed to have defrauded a citizen of more than $25,000.
Between Aug. 16 and Sept. 19, 2019, police believe a male suspect used a stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases at various locations throughout Edmonton including clothing stores, restaurants and casinos. In total, 145 fraudulent purchases were made totalling more than $25,000.
The suspect is described as a 35-45-year-old white male with short brown hair who weighs approximately 160-180 lbs and is approximately 5’8" to 6’0" feet tall. Photos of the suspect are included below.
