On Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m., three unmasked men walked into a jewellery store in the area of 92 Street and 34 Avenue. It is reported that the three men wanted to trade a piece of jewellery. Shortly after, one of the suspects allegedly produced a weapon, the employee was assaulted and the three suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
Police and EMS responded, treated and transported the employee with non-life threatening injuries. He was later released from hospital.
Police believe the suspects fled in a white coloured minivan heading eastbound on 34 Avenue.

The suspects are described as:
Suspect 1: Black male with short black hair and a small moustache, wearing a black toque and a black jacket with silver buttons. He was also wearing a black sweater with a white shirt underneath, black pants, black shoes and is about 5’9” to 5’11” tall.
Suspect 2: Black male, short black hair with a receding hair line, small goatee and was wearing a black, shiny leather jacket. He was also wearing a blue button up shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, dark colored pants and dark shoes and is about 5’9” to 5’11” tall.
Suspect 3: Black male, short black hair and was wearing a black winter jacket with brown fur on the hood. He was also wearing a white shirt, blue or green scrub like sweat pants, black shoes, blue/white toque and black/white gloves and is about 5’6” tall.
