Patrol members attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of 35 Street and 147A Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. today. During the course of these events police members exited their vehicle and one of the officers discharged his service weapon toward the vehicle.
Police continue to search for the occupants of the vehicle. It’s unknown at this time if the driver of the vehicle and any of its occupants were injured. The patrol members were unharmed.
The EPS contacted the Director of Law Enforcement who directed that the investigation remain with EPS at this time. ASIRT has also been notified.
