The Edmonton Police Service is asking the public for assistance in identifying a male suspect allegedly involved in an arson at a construction site in west Edmonton last month.

One of the males reportedly purchased a red jerry can and several litres of fuel. The male then reportedly walked to a nearby construction site, used the fuel to light wooden framing on fire and fled the area on foot.  The site was unattended at the time and no injuries were reported.

Police are releasing photos of the alleged suspect in hopes that someone may recognize the male. He is described as approximately 5’10-5’11” tall, weighs approximately 150 lbs and was reportedly wearing black pants, a black jacket, a black toque and black and white runners.
