The Edmonton Police Service is investigating a
suspicious death that occurred overnight at a southwest Edmonton residence.
Southwest Division patrol officers responded to an assault call at approximately 2:20 a.m. today, Friday, July 17, 2020, at a social gathering being held at a rural residence near 184 Street and 8 Avenue SW.
Upon arrival, EPS members discovered a deceased male. Homicide Section has since taken over the investigation.
The Edmonton Medical Examiner is scheduled to conduct an autopsy early next week.
