A male pedestrian has succumbed to injuries sustained during a collision earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at approximately 11:20 p.m., a 41-year-old male pedestrian was reportedly picking up items from the roadway that had fallen from his truck, when he was struck by a 60-year-old male motorist. The motorist was travelling northbound on 34 Street SW, just north of 28 Avenue SW when he allegedly struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was treated and transported to hospital by paramedics, with serious injuries. The man sadly succumbed to his injuries yesterday, Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, in hospital.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision. No charges have been laid at this time.
