Police seek public's assistance locating missing woman

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 28-year-old woman.

Jessica Wells, 28, reportedly left her home in the area of 138 Street and 131 B Avenue on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. She was going for a walk and has not returned. As Wells is a person with a cognitive disability, family and police are concerned for her welfare.

Wells is described as a white female who stands approximately 5’10” tall and weighs 130lbs. She has brown hair and green eyes, and sometimes wears dark rimmed glasses. She was last seen wearing dark leggings with a bright pattern, a pink and black skirt, a black hoodie, dark coloured winter boots with fur on top and a white toque. She was also reportedly carrying a black backpack with pink trim.

Missing person: Jessica Wells, 28

Wells frequently uses transit and is known to visit Stanley A. Milner Library in downtown Edmonton. She also frequents Bulk Barn, Value Village, Goodwill and other thrift stores.
