The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two suspects in relation to an armed robbery at a northeast pawn shop.

On Monday, January 24, 2022, at approximately 7:40 p.m., it was reported that two suspects entered a pawn shop located at 126 Avenue and Fort Road and immediately approached the jewelry display counter.

The male suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and hit the display case with it, causing it to break. The two suspects grabbed approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry and fled the store.

The male suspect is described as being approximately 5’8” to 6’ tall with a medium build. He was wearing black pants, a blue and orange Helly Hansen jacket, and black and white shoes during the robbery.

The female suspect was wearing black clothing.

Detectives with the EPS Robbery Section continue to investigate and are releasing video of the suspects in hopes that someone may recognize the two suspects.
