Police seek public's assistance identifying suspects in liquor store robbery

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify two suspects who reportedly robbed a central Edmonton liquor store last month.

It was reported to police that at approximately 12:50 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, a male and female entered a liquor store in the area of 92 Street and Stadium Rd. After browsing the store and selecting some alcohol, the pair reportedly approached the till, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. The pair then fled the store on foot with several hundred dollars and a bottle of liquor. No injuries were reported.

EPS Robbery detectives have since taken over the investigation and are hopeful that someone may recognize the suspects.

 

The male suspect is described as 20 to 25-years-old, 5’10” tall with an average build. He was reportedly dressed in all black clothing and wore black running shoes with white soles.

The female suspect is described as 20-25-years-old, 5’6” tall with a heavy build. She was reportedly wearing a black hooded top, a red bandana around her neck and brown boots with white soles.
