The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in an assault complaint.
On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at approximately 8:35 p.m., a male rider was assaulted on an Edmonton Transit Service bus that was travelling to the Bonnie Doon Mall area. After the assault occurred, the suspect fled on foot and was last observed running away southbound on 83 Street towards 82 Avenue. The complainant was transported to hospital by paramedics with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is believed to be an Indigenous male, 18 to 20 years-old, approximately 6’0” tall, wearing a Toronto Blue Jays hat, a grey long sleeved Nike sweater and black pants.
