Assist to ID: Investigators seek public’s assistance to identify person of interest in connection to ongoing arson investigations

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a person of interest regarding its investigation into multiple arsons in 2021-22.[No text in field]

EPS continues to actively investigate a rash of arsons that occurred throughout the past year along the 118 Avenue corridor.

“The EPS continues to actively investigate multiple arson’s that occurred throughout this area in 2021-22,” said EPS Acting Staff Sgt David Graham. “Arson investigations can often prove to be lengthy given the specific challenges and complexities involved. Public safety is our service’s top priority, while also preserving the investigative integrity of these ongoing investigations. We’re working diligently to try and bring those responsible for these arsons to justice.”

Police are also releasing several photos of a male person of interest who investigators would like to speak to.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have information about this person of interest seen in the images below to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.

    

Police would like to speak to this person of interest in connection to a series of arsons along the 118 Avenue corridor over the past year.
