Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section detectives are investigating a suspicious death that occurred in Northeast Edmonton.
On Saturday, August 6, 2022, at approximately 6:25 p.m., police responded to a weapons complaint in the area of 162 Avenue and 52 Street. When police members arrived, they located an unresponsive 63-year-old female who was pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics. A second injured person was located and was taken to hospital by paramedics in serious life-threatening condition.
An autopsy has yet to be scheduled. Homicide Section detectives continue to investigate.
