The Prius was subsequently pushed into the Toyota Rav 4 that was stopped adjacent to it in the westbound lane on 34 Avenue, which then struck a Ford F-150 stopped in the lane next to it.
The 90-year-old female driver of the Toyota Camry and the 56-year-old male driver of the Dodge were both pronounced deceased on scene. Paramedics treated and transported the driver of the Prius to hospital for precautionary reasons.
Motorists are advised to avoid the intersection at 50 Street and 34 Avenue, which will remain closed for the next several hours while police investigate.
