Police seek video, tips in southwest shooting

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance following a shooting that occurred on Monday night in Southwest Edmonton. 

On Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at approximately 11:54 p.m., Southwest Branch officers responded to the report of shooting in the area of 11 Avenue and 103A Street. When police arrived, they located a male in his 20s with gunshot wounds. The male was treated and transported to hospital with serious injuries. He is not cooperative with police at this time.

At approximately 1:05 a.m. the same night, police responded to a silver Lexus SUV on fire in the area of 17 Street and 58 Avenue. It is suspected the two incidents are related.
