Convicted violent offender 22-year-old Jaycee Bigstone, who was recently released from jail, has been rearrested.
On Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, Bigstone left his approved residence and was arrested a few hours later by the Westlock RCMP. He was found in possession of a stolen vehicle and was breaching numerous conditions of his release order. Bigstone is facing various charges, including possession of stolen property under $5000 and failure to comply with release order (x4).
The Edmonton Police Service issued a news release on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, warning the public that Bigstone was residing in Edmonton after recently being released from jail. He is currently subject to a court order with conditions that were requested by the EPS Behavioural Assessment Unit.
Bigstone has been remanded and his next court date is Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023.
