The largest of the six busts was effected on Friday, March 21, 2014. EDGE, in conjunction with other specialized EPS units, completed the investigation into a drug distribution network that resulted in the seizure of over $800,000 in cash and 1.5 kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of $85,000. Search warrants were executed at four locations throughout Edmonton, with the majority of cash located in a residence near 167 Avenue and 111 Street.
The money was seized under the Victims Restitution and Compensation Payment Act and if successfully restrained will be used to compensate victims of crime and disrupt the business of organized crime.
Kevin Correia, 35, Michael Mannara, 28, and Jocelyn Zunti, 22, are facing several drug-related charges, includingconspiracy to traffic cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking. Cody Klemola, 25, is charged withpossession for the purpose of trafficking.
Between Tuesday, March 11 and Friday, March 20, 2014, EDGE completed five other independent trafficking investigations. The following individuals were charged with at least one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking:

March 20, Shane Labine, 36, *Kenneth Houle, 28, warrant executed at 135 Avenue and 82 Street
