Edmonton Police Service (EPS) investigators have reason to believe a man charged with indecent acts may have had other victims.

On Feb. 8, and Feb. 12, 2023, four different complainants reported indecent acts in the NAIT main campus and University of Alberta areas. It was reported that the male suspect followed the female complainants in his vehicle with the window down while masturbating. In one instance, it was reported that the suspect verbally harassed the complainant while masturbating. He was described as a white male with a red beard driving a silver or grey BMW SUV.

A peace officer located the suspect on Feb. 12, 2023 and initiated a traffic stop. The suspect fled the scene, and was arrested by EPS on Feb. 13, 2023. He was identified as David Adams, 28 and charged with indecent acts (x4) and criminal flight.

Investigators believe there may be additional complainants, and are encouraging them to come forward. Anyone who believes they have been victimized by the accused is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
