The Edmonton Police Service has taken over the RCMP homicide investigation of London Williams, 21, who was found dead on Monday, March 24, 2014 in the County of Smoky Lake.
The EPS Homicide Section has identified a connection between London Williams and the homicide of Ibrahim Yousef Chehimi, 34, that occurred on Tuesday, Jan.21, 2014 in Edmonton.
The location where Williams was killed is still under investigation. The cause of death will not be released at this time.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate both deaths with the assistance of the RCMP.
