The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance locating five suspects who assaulted and robbed an individual earlier this week in central Edmonton.
On Sunday, August 25, 2024 at approximately 10:15 p.m., Downtown Branch members responded to a call in the area of 100 Street and 102 Avenue where they located a man who had been pepper sprayed and robbed of his wallet by five male suspects on bicycles. The man was treated and transported to hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The first suspect to approach the victim was riding a bicycle with a white frame. He was described as wearing a black baseball hat and mask. He was dressed in a black hoodie with black pants with a white stripe down the sides.

The other four male suspects were described as wearing dark clothing. After the robbery, all five suspects fled the scene on bicycles in a northeast direction.
Police believe the victim and the five suspects are not known to each other.
