It was reported that a male and female were walking to their vehicle behind E-BAR, an establishment at the corner of 100 Avenue and 105 Street, when they were approached by two unknown male suspects. One suspect produced a firearm while both allegedly attempted to rob the male complainant of his jewelry.
The complainant then tried to get away, but was allegedly shot by one of the suspects. A gold medallion worn by the complainant was also stolen. The male complainant attended hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The female was unharmed.
The suspects were caught on video surveillance heading east toward 105 Street, where they separated. The first suspect travelled north and the second suspect travelled south, both on foot. A white, 4-door Lexus was seen near the establishment around the time of the occurrence and may be connected to the incident.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his mid-twenties, wearing a white hoodie, light pants and black runners with white soles. The sides of his head may be shaved into a mohawk style.
The second suspect is described as a black male in his mid-twenties, approximately 5’4”, with a distinctive cornrow hairstyle and lean, muscular build. The suspect was wearing a tight, black shirt with a white shirt underneath, jeans, eyeglasses, white do rag, and white sneakers with black details around the laces.
The gold medallion is approximately the size of a compact disk and hangs on a heavy, gold chain. It features a sun and the text “The Original Man.”
