A pre-teen girl was swimming in the wave pool at the WEM water park at approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, when the incident occurred. A male swimming near the complaint is alleged to have groped the girl’s groin area, during the wave surges.
The young girl left the pool to inform her parents, who then approached the male suspect. The suspect, however, successfully fled the scene.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 25 to 35 years old with short, dark hair and a scar or bald spot on the back of his head. He was wearing dark swimming shorts at the time of the assault.
