Police asking public for help in identifying suspect in hit and run

EPS Downtown Division investigators are asking the public for help in identifying a male suspect in connection with a hit and run that occurred on July 20, 2014 in the area of 100 Avenue and 117 Street.

The suspect was observed entering Steamworks Bathhouse around 2 a.m. and leaving at 4:24 a.m., when he got into a BMW X6 which was parked at the rear of the Jewish Seniors Centre. It was reported that the suspect proceeded to drive forward, when his vehicle pushed and dragged a man who was sleeping on the ground. The suspect vehicle then left the scene.

The complainant sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The EPS is releasing the following photos of the suspect. Anyone with information about his identity is asked to call the EPS non-emergency complaint line at 780-423-4567or #377 from a mobile phone.
