The body of an 87-year-old woman who was reported missing on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 was recovered from the North Saskatchewan River today.
On Friday, July 19, 2013, in conjunction with Elk Point RCMP, the Office of the Medical Examiner, and the EPS, the remains of the elderly woman have been identified as those of Edith Fearon-Delaronde.
The death appears to be non-criminal in nature.
The EPS thanks all citizens and the media for their search efforts.
