The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s help in locating an Edmonton man who has not been seen since Sept. 25, 2014.

Peter Russell Yellowbird, 35, was reported missing to the EPS, after his family became concerned that he had fallen out of contact with them for an extended period of time.  Yellowbird was last seen in the downtown Edmonton area in late September.

Yellowbird’s disappearance is out of character. There is no indication, at this time, that foul play is involved. Yellowbird is described as being an Aboriginal male, 6’4”, 185 pounds, with long black hair, brown eyes and a pock-marked face (see photo below).

He is also known to frequent the communities of Hobbema and Wetaskiwin.

Anyone with information about Yellowbird’s disappearance or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.tipsubmit.com/start.htm.
