Police investigating early-morning shooting in west-end park

An Edmonton man sustained life-threatening injuries earlier this morning, after being shot multiple times in a west-end park.

West Division patrol members responded to a weapon’s complaint in a park near 184 Street and 93 Avenue at approximately 12:40 a.m. today, Monday, April 20, 2015.

Upon arrival patrol members discovered a 25-year-old male lying on the ground in distress. The male was rushed to hospital by EMS, where he remains in critical condition following surgery.
