The Edmonton Police Service is investigating an early morning shooting in downtown Edmonton.
Around 3:40 a.m. this morning (Friday, Apr. 24, 2015) police were called to 103A Avenue and 93 Street after a man was shot multiple times on the street. EMS also responded, treated and transported the man to hospital.
The man underwent surgery today and is in serious but stable condition.
Police do not believe this is a random incident. Investigators have spoken to some witnesses but are still looking for more information.
