Police are seeking witness after a stolen semi is believed to be connected to multiple crimes overnight.

On Friday October 23rd, 2015 between the 8 p.m. and 1:45 a.m. on Saturday October 24th, 2015 it was reported that a late model, white Kenworth tractor was detached from its trailer at a commercial business in the south Edmonton.

A male suspect allegedly parked the stolen tractor at a nearby business and attempted to break into it but was not successful.

It is believed that the tractor may have been involved in other criminal occurrences in Edmonton overnight.

Police believe the truck may have been sighted near 82 Street and Yellowhead Trail driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of traffic with another trailer attached, and may have been escorted by other passengers in the vehicle.

Police located the stolen truck near Manning Drive and 153 Avenue and arrested a male suspect.

Anyone who has information about the trailer and/or suspects is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.tipsubmit.com/start.htm.
