A 26-year-old man has been charged in relation to an incident that occurred last month on the LRT.
On Sept. 29, 2015 just after midnight a female was approached by a man on the LRT. The male boarded the LRT at Churchill Station and appeared to be visibly intoxicated, while making several attempts to sit with the female riding the LRT. When the female attempted to leave, she was allegedly sexually assaulted.
As a result of the numerous tips from the public, Scott Gordon Kennedy, 26, was identified and has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
Kennedy is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 27, 2015.
