On Thursday, Apr. 14, 2016, at around 10 p.m., West Division officers were called to the area of 137 Street and 115 Avenue, after a man was located in critical condition. It was reported that approximately four or five suspects, wearing dark clothing and hoods, got out of a vehicle and allegedly struck a man multiple times with baseball bats and then fled the area in a vehicle.
The man who was struck, believed to be in his 30s, succumbed to his injuries Saturday afternoon in hospital.
Homicide Section has declared this death as the city’s 15th homicide of the year. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
