Police received a report of a break and enter to a business in the area of 52 Avenue and 84 Street in August 2016. A number of items were allegedly stolen including electronics, gift cards and promotional tickets, including 58 Keith Urban concert tickets.
Police believe the suspect(s) may have sold some of the much coveted Keith Urban tickets online.
“If anyone is in possession of the stolen tickets, they will not work on concert night, says Det. Scott Gargan with Criminal Investigation Section at Southeast Division. “It is unfortunate that fraudulent tickets are being sold online to Edmontonians.”
The following tickets for the Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 show at Rogers Place have been flagged as fraudulent. Anyone who purchased or who is in possession of these tickets is asked to contact police.

Police encourage the public to take precautions when purchasing tickets online:
- Conduct all transactions in person, in a well-lit, public location with video surveillance.
- Ask for a bill of sale and identification from the seller. Ensure the identification provided matches the seller.
- Be wary of e-tickets that can be easily reproduced and distributed. When possible, meet at a location where tickets can be verified.
- Check the Canadian Police Information Centre database to see if an item has been reported stolen: http://www.cpic-cipc.ca/index-eng.htm
- Ask questions of the seller if an item is priced noticeably below market value: Why is the item discounted? Can the seller provide an original purchase receipt?
Anyone with information on the break and enter, suspect or fraudulent tickets is asked to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.tipsubmit.com/start.htm.
