On Sept. 24, 2016, West Division officers responded to the area of 90 Avenue and 170 Street for the report of a sexual assault. It was reported to police that a female teenager and a 35-year-old male, identified as Sinan Hadi, were involved in a property damage collision. Following the collision, Hadi convinced the complainant to get into his vehicle, drove her to multiple locations and then sexually assaulted her.
On Sept. 25, 2016, Hadi was taken into custody, charged and convicted ofsexual assault and unlawful confinement. Hadi failed to attend court for sentencing and neglected to turn in his travel documents. Hadi is now wanted on three Canada-wide warrants.
Hadi, pictured below, is described as 5’10” tall, weighing 177 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
