At approximately 7:40 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, April 17, 2019, West Division officers responded to the report of a single vehicle collision in the area of 116 B Avenue and 136 Street.
It was reported to police that a Chevrolet Silverado truck was travelling westbound on 116 B Avenue when it drove through the T-intersection at 116 B Avenue and 136 Street and collided with a house.
EMS responded, treated and transported the 70-year-old male driver of the truck to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he was pronounced deceased. No one else was injured as a result of this collision.
It is unknown at this time whether the 70-year-old man died from injuries incurred as a result of the collision, or whether his death was the result of a medical episode.
Alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in this collision.
Officers continue to investigate.
