On Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at approximately 10:35 a.m. a lone male approached an ATB in the area of 118 Avenue and 121 Street. After entering the bank, the lone male suspect approached the teller and exchanged words. The suspect then allegedly reached over the counter and took cash from the teller’s drawer. The suspect then fled out the main doors of the bank and ran toward the intersection of 121 Street crossing 118 Avenue. The male was last seen in close proximity to the Canadian Tire on Kingsway Avenue (11839 Kingsway Avenue).
The male suspect is believed to be in his 50s and stands about 5’10” tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a grey baseball cap, a grey full-zip hoodie with loose fitting blue jeans and black skateboarding shoes with white soles.
Police are releasing the following image of the male suspect in an attempt to identify him.
