Investigators are looking for the public’s assistance in locating Raed Ahmad El Harati, 38, of Edmonton, a suspect wanted in connection with a recent rash of break-ins at seniors’ residences.
Complainants have told police that the male is posing as a maintenance worker or security guard to gain access to suites while residents are at home. The suspect convinces residents that he’s there to do work or check on things. He then distracts residents and proceeds to steal their valuables in the room.
Harati (see photo below)is arrestable on the following charges:
- Break and enter with intent (x2)
- Break and enter with intent (x4)
- Use a stolen credit card (x2)
