The Edmonton Police Service continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating 29-year-old Hanad Mohamed Farah in relation to a shooting late last year.
On Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at approximately 1:35 a.m., police were called to an establishment in the area of Jasper Avenue and 100 Street on the report of a weapons complaint. Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old man who had been shot. The man was treated and transported to hospital by EMS with life-threatening injuries.
Hanad Mohamed Farah, 29, remains wanted by police on outstanding warrants for attempted murder and other firearm-related offences in connection to the shooting. Investigators believe Farah to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
Farah is described as a black male who stands 5’11” tall and weighs approximately 160 lbs. He has brown eyes and thinning black hair.
Investigators believe Farah could also be in the Toronto, Ontario or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan area.
Police previously laid charges against four other individuals in relation to this incident.
