On Wednesday, June 5, 2013 officers with West Division stopped an individual for jaywalking in the area of 110 Avenue and 156 Street. In the process of formally identifying the individual, officers found that she was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
It is alleged that the female suspect abducted and unlawfully confined a 16-year-old female victim on June 4, 2013. It is reported that the victim was robbed and was allegedly forced by the suspect to withdraw money from several ATM’s in the downtown area.
“This was a serious incident that was very traumatic for the victim.” says Acting Det. Mike Furman, one of the investigators on the file.
Lisa Ann McKay, 32, is charged with robbery (X3), assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, kidnapping, uttering threats and fraud.
