The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying human remains found in the river valley in 2020.

On October 4, 2020, the remains of an unidentified male were found in an encampment in the Victoria Park area. Police have exhausted all investigative avenues to identify the male, including comparing the remains with outstanding missing persons files, and have not been successful.

As such, RCMP forensic artist Cpl. Jean Nault has created a facial reconstruction in the hopes that someone may come forward with information leading to the male’s identity.
