A man has been charged in a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that has turned fatal.
On January 18, 2022 at approximately 1:10 p.m., police responded to the report of a serious collision. A 63-year-old female pedestrian was crossing 149 Street at 124 Avenue when she was struck by a south turning GMC Sierra operated by a 64 year-old male.
EMS treated and transported the pedestrian to hospital. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022.
EPS Major Collision Investigations Section and Northwest Patrol investigated the collision, and have charged Christopher Page, 64 with failing to yield to a pedestrian. Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in this collision.
