On October 15, 2021, at approximately 5:30 a.m., five males exited two stolen vehicles at the rear of an optometrist clinic in the area of 123 Street and Jasper Avenue. One of the suspects broke one of the rear windows and another suspect crawled through. That suspect then allegedly grabbed two cases from inside the store containing over 400 pairs of sunglasses/prescription glasses worth approximately $120,000. The cases were then loaded into the stolen vehicles and the suspects fled the scene. One of the stolen vehicles, a Nissan Altima, has since been recovered.
