At approximately 12:55 a.m. on Jan. 25, 2022, police responded to the report of a robbery at a convenience store in the area of 182 Street and 89 Avenue.
The suspects reportedly entered the store and demanded cash from the till. The first suspect threatened the clerk with a large knife, at one point holding the knife to the clerk’s throat and later striking the clerk with the flat side of the blade. The second suspect went behind the till and grabbed cigarettes. The two men then fled with the cash and cigarettes. The clerk suffered minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as a 25 to 30-year-old male, possibly Asian or mixed race, standing approximately 5’10” and weighing approximately 165 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket, black jeans and tan gloves, and black fabric wrapped around his face.
The second suspect is described as a 20 to 25-year-old white male, at least 6’ tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket with large white lettering on the back, black jeans, and a black handkerchief over his face.

Shortly after the 182 Street robbery, the first suspect entered another nearby convenience store in the area of 172 Street and 95 Avenue. The suspect reportedly held a knife to the clerk and demanded cash. The suspect then reportedly emptied the register into a bag, grabbed several packs of cigarettes and fled.
