The Edmonton Police Service has charged a 20-year-old man in relation to two stabbings that occurred downtown over the weekend.
On Saturday, April 29, 2023, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded to a weapons complaint in the area of 101 Street and 103A Avenue after it was reported to police that multiple people had been stabbed. Upon arrival, responding officers located an injured man and woman and a suspect brandishing a knife.
Jordan Reilly Fouquette, 20, has since been charged with aggravated assault (x2) and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public in relation to this incident.
The conditions of both victims are described as stable.
