The Edmonton Police Service Major Collision Investigation Section is investigating a motorcycle collision that sent a male to hospital.
On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a 28-year-old male was operating a motorcycle on Fort Road, approaching 116 Avenue when he lost control, striking a curb. The motorcycle slid and the rider sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The male was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Fort Road was closed to traffic for a number of hours as the collision was investigated but has since re-opened. Speed is considered to be a factor in the collision.
